Front Office

Alex Lubyansky- General Manager

Alex Lubyansky has a special place in his heart for the NPSL. His time with the Detroit Arsenal led him to win an NPSL Championship and Finals Most Valuable Player award, obtain a professional trial with Dynamo Kiev FC in Ukraine (frequent Champions League contenders) and launch a career in soccer.

His loving & supportive wife Alison convinced him to walk away from his other career as an attorney to focus on soccer and he has not looked back since. Together, they have an adorable son named Benjamin and the world’s most poorly trained trio of Pomeranians. Send Alex an email.

Joe Shargorodsky- Director of Gameday Operations

Joe loves soccer and the city of Baltimore. As a player he enjoyed making his teammates better (he had a silly number of assists as a youth player). He continued his virtuosity into his full-time career as a doctor. He grew his affinity for Baltimore while attending Johns Hopkins University for a fellowship as part of his medical training.

When he is not saving lives- Joe is in the stands of FCB making sure everything is running smoothly. His wife Danielle, son Ethan and daughter Sabrina are often at the games right alongside of him.

Jody Haislip- Director of Soccer Operations

Jody caught the soccer bug at five years of age. Since then he has won a HS State Championship as a player (holding an all-time scoring record in the process), was named a second team All-American in college. Jody currently works as President of Operations for Rehab Services a DME provider. Jody is the General Manager of Christos FC, formerly played for the squad and has coached as well leading to six USASA National Championships. His loving family tolerates his 24/7 soccer problem. FCBC thanks his wife Valarie, son Dempsey (6), daughter Leighton (8) and the multiple Weims they own, rescue and foster.

William Vanzela- Director of Community Relations

William Vanzela has spent the past 6 seasons as a pro player with the Baltimore Blast (MASL) winning four championships, multiple MVP awards & Goalkeeper of the Year Honors. His playing career includes experience in Brazil & Italy- including a 7 a side World Cup title with Italy & Best GK Selection. His coaching experience includes Johns Hopkins University, McDonough High School, Loyola Blakefield, FC Baltimore & Baltimore Celtic.

He was the first person to answer the call when FC Baltimore joined the NPSL- and continues to be an amazing ambassador of Baltimore Soccer.

Chris Singlemann- Director of Multimedia

Chris Singlemann is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland- where he returned to serve as a videographer. He fine-tuned his craft at his alma mater performing photograpy, videography, editing and all phases of multimedia content creation.

In the soccer world, he has experience with the New York Cosmos. Chris joined FC Baltimore in 2018 and has taken the team’s multimedia to a new level. If he is not on the field or in the studio- he spends his time binge-watching Netflix (The West Wing) and creating craft cocktails. Check out his work here:

Chris Fincham- Team Photographer

Christopher Fincham is a photographer and creator in Severna Park, Maryland. A native of Richmond, VA, he recently completed 20 years of active duty service as an Army photographer and public affairs senior noncommissioned officer. His service took him to a variety of locations around the world and included multiple tours overseas. Being a soccer-dad of young athletes, he has developed a love for the sport and is excited by the opportunity to help tell the story of a blossoming organization like FC Baltimore.
